WiNGS (Women in God's Service)

The FCC women's ministry (WiNGS) meets on the second Monday night of each month at 7:00 PM.  The meetings typically last for about an hour.  Baby sitting is provided.  WiNGS is a service oriented group and typically works on quarterly outreach projects. 

 

Who can participate? Any woman, married or single, who has a heart to grow in Christ and a willingness to serve and minister to others.

 

 

 

 

 

WiNGS encompasses the following endeavers:

Hospitality - Food Pantry - We provide food to members and others who are in need.	Baby Baskets or Showers - We honor first time mothers with a baby shower.
Spiritual Growth - Prayer Chain - We forward, by e-mail and telephone calls, prayer requests. Women are paired up with a prayer and accountability partner.	Salvation Army - Several of our ladies are involved in serving meals at the Salvation Army each month.
FCC Office Volunteers - Several of our ladies assist with the addressing and mailing of the FCC newsletter each month.	Card Ministry - Sympathy - We send get-well cards and birthday cards to Church members.
Helping Hearts and Hands - We help meet FCC member needs, from providing transportation, to people sitting, to assisting with shopping, to providing meals during times of hardship and following the birth of babys.
